The Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH is the latest in a long line of classic, long lasting, quality Leica lenses. The lens is capable of producing extremely shallow depth of field creating a unique bokeh. The Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH has very little vignetting and produces only slight barrel distortion. The lens weighs in at 700g, which is more then the weight of the Leica M7 or M9 body.
Price is most certainly the most daunting quality of this lens. If you are fortunate enough to make money from your photography then go for it, if not you might want to ask yourself if your photography is worth $10,000.
