Canon's First Waterproof Compact Camera

Canon's first waterproof compact digital camera will be available in May 2009, just in time for the beach.

The 12.1 mega pixel camera has a 3x optical zoom, image stabilizer and video capability.

The camera is waterproof, freezeproof and shockproof.

Optional accessories include a customized strap, face plates and a carabineer hook, attached to a strap.

Suggested retail price is $329. Canon PowerShot D10 will be available online and in stores in May 2009.
